Why forgiveness is important?
Forgiveness lightens the load people are carrying. As humans, we are exposed to various people. Many of them hurt us intentionally and some of them hurt us unintentionally. An intentional hurt would be calling us “losers” and unintentionally hurt is when someone forgets to honor your group at an awards ceremony.
As a person I have been hurt intentionally and unintentionally and forgiving people have helped me to move forward when I let go of the anger towards someone.
Here are 3 benefits of forgiveness:
1. Fewer feelings of depression
2. Less feeling of stress, despair, and anxiety
3. Healthier relationship with loved ones
The reason why many people struggle with forgiveness is because their hurt runs deep and they lack resiliency to adapt to difficult situations.

How to avoid trust issues in the future?
Most people who have trust issues are suspicious of everyone, and they believe people will harm them verbally, emotionally, or physically. Trust issues are usually caused by trauma, an unloving childhood, and past experiences. When you are betrayed by a loved one, it is really difficult to trust again.
As a person, I have struggled with trust issues because, in school, I had friends who seemed friendly and kind when they were with me. On the other hand, behind my back, they gossip about me. As a result of this, I learned that I should not trust everyone in my presence.
Here are three ways to avoid trust issues in the future:
1. You must select 3 character traits when seeking a close confidant.
2. You must observe this person’s words and actions for at least 6 months.
3. You must have similar values and beliefs.
Many people become vulnerable to dishonest people because they are honest and have thoughts and feelings that are easily understood by others. Honest people words and actions are connected.
